The ABB PM904F (3BDH001002R0001) is a high-performance CPU module for the Freelance AC 900F distributed control system. It manages control applications, process data, and communication between field devices and automation systems. The module provides four Ethernet interfaces, two general-purpose serial interfaces, an additional diagnostic serial interface, and four slots for communication interface modules. It supports Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII, IEC 60870-5-104, and compatible fieldbus configurations. Direct connection to up to ten S700 I/O modules is supported, and controller redundancy is available when configured with compatible system hardware and software.
