Description
The ABB REF615E_C is a Relion 615 series feeder protection and control relay designed for protection, control, measurement, and supervision of overhead lines and cable feeders in utility and industrial medium-voltage distribution systems. REF615 supports both radial and looped or meshed networks and can be configured for different protection applications. Depending on the selected configuration, functions include overcurrent and earth-fault protection, voltage and frequency protection, measurement, circuit-breaker control and condition monitoring. The relay also supports IEC 61850 communication, including GOOSE, together with Modbus, DNP3 and IEC 60870-5-103 protocols.
