The ALFA LAVAL AAL7000 V0.1 is an oxygen analyser developed for marine inert gas systems and related combustion-control applications. The unit uses a zirconia-oxide oxygen probe to measure oxygen content in the inert gas sample line, while the microprocessor-based monitoring unit processes the probe signal and provides local operation and calibration functions. It is particularly associated with shipboard inert gas generators where continuous oxygen monitoring is important for system operation and cargo safety. Alfa Laval has classified the AAL7000 as an obsolete analyser and recommends the SMIT7000 as the current upgrade solution, making original AAL7000 units valuable for maintenance, retrofit, and replacement requirements on existing installations.
