Description

BENTLY 3500/45 is a 4-channel Position Monitor module for Bently Nevada 3500 series machinery protection systems.

Product Overview

The 3500/45 accepts inputs from proximity transducers, RPTs, DC/AC LVDTs, and rotary potentiometers to monitor axial position, differential expansion, case expansion, and valve position.
Each channel pair can be independently programmed for different position monitoring functions with user-defined alarm setpoints.

Usage Method

  1. Install in full-height slot of 3500 rack with rear I/O module.
  2. Connect position transducers to I/O module terminals per channel.
  3. Configure channel functions (thrust, expansion, valve) via 3500 Rack Configuration Software.
  4. Set alarm thresholds, ramp rates, and NOT OK voting.
  5. Verify OK LED and test alarm relay operation.

Technical Notes

Supports complementary differential expansion (CIDE) and multiple ramp profiles for complex turbine applications.
