The DEIF DELOMATIC 4 DGU 0001 is a multifunction Power Management System (PMS) control unit designed for marine generator and shipboard power management applications. The DELOMATIC 4 architecture distributes generator control and PMS functions across multiple DGUs, allowing the system to coordinate generator start/stop, load-dependent operation, priority selection, synchronization, and power plant supervision. The PMS DGU contains the PMS software functions while also providing generator-control functionality and communication with other DGUs. The DM-4 Marine platform is now being phased out by DEIF and is not recommended for new designs, making the DGU 0001 particularly relevant for maintenance, retrofit, and replacement requirements on existing vessels.
