Description
Product Introduction
⚙️ Product: PR6425/010-100 + CON011
🏷️ Brand: EPRO / Emerson
🔧 Product Type: Eddy Current Sensor & Signal Converter
📡 Application: Turbomachinery Vibration and Shaft Displacement Monitoring
The EPRO PR6425/010-100 with CON011 is a non-contact eddy current measurement system for critical rotating machinery. The PR6425 sensor measures shaft vibration, radial and axial displacement, position, and eccentricity, while the CON011 converts the sensor signal into a standard voltage output for machinery monitoring systems. Emerson documentation lists the PR6425 as compatible with the CON011 converter.
⚡ The PR6425 is a 16 mm high-temperature eddy current sensor designed for large rotating shafts. It has a static measuring range of ±2.0 mm and a sensitivity of 4 V/mm. The sensor is designed for demanding applications including steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, and other critical turbomachinery.
🔌 The CON011 signal converter operates with the PR6425 sensor and provides a -4 to -20 V output range. Its documented operating temperature range is -30 to +100°C, with a dynamic response time of less than 15 μs.

Installation & Use
🛠️ Before installation, verify the PR6425/010-100 sensor, CON011 converter, cable length, connector type, target shaft material, and required measuring gap.
🔌 Install the probe with the correct mechanical clearance and connect it to the CON011 using the appropriate LEMO connection. The converter should receive the specified negative DC supply and provide the configured voltage output to the monitoring system.
📊 After installation, check the sensor gap voltage, output signal, vibration values, shaft displacement, and monitoring-system diagnostics. Confirm that the measured signal is stable before placing the machinery protection system into normal operation.
⚠️ Because this equipment can form part of a machinery protection chain, installation, commissioning, and maintenance should be performed by qualified personnel following the approved site procedure.
