The GE Fanuc VMIVME-7455 is a single-slot, 6U VMEbus IDE CD-ROM drive module designed for GE/VMIC embedded VMEbus computer systems. It provides CD-ROM access through an ATAPI/IDE interface connected to the host single-board computer via the VMEbus P2 user-defined pins. The module supports compatible CD-ROM media formats, including CD-I, Video CD, Enhanced CD, and CD PLUS. Depending on the host computer and installation arrangement, a compatible cable assembly may be required.
