The GE Hydran 201Ti (Model: H201Ti) is a compact, continuous on-line monitoring system designed for early fault detection in power transformers. It measures composite “Hydran gas values”—primarily focusing on hydrogen (H2​), while also showing sensitivity to carbon monoxide, acetylene, and ethylene—directly from the transformer’s insulating oil to provide a crucial early warning system against catastrophic failures.
