Description

The GE IS200ESELH2A is an Exciter Selector (ESEL) Board used in GE excitation control systems. Technical documentation identifies the ESEL as a control-rack board that receives logic-level gate-pulse signals from the EMIO board and routes these signals toward the exciter gate pulse amplifier (EGPA) boards in the power conversion cabinet.

The H2A version belongs to the ESEL group with three bridge drivers, supporting three power-conversion modules. In redundant excitation configurations, two ESEL boards can be used, with the active controller selecting which ESEL provides the gate commands.
