Description
The GE IS420YDIAS1B (often abbreviated as YDIA) is a high-density Discrete Input (DI) I/O Pack manufactured by General Electric (GE Vernova) for the Mark VIe Distributed Control System (DCS) turbine control platform.
It acts as a primary digital interface between field contact devices (such as pushbuttons, limit switches, pressure switches, and relay contacts) and the Mark VIe controllers, digitizing 24 field contact signals and transmitting them across the dual redundant Mark VIe Ethernet control network (IONet).
