The GE IS420YDIAS1B (often abbreviated as YDIA) is a high-density Discrete Input (DI) I/O Pack manufactured by General Electric (GE Vernova) for the Mark VIe Distributed Control System (DCS) turbine control platform.

It acts as a primary digital interface between field contact devices (such as pushbuttons, limit switches, pressure switches, and relay contacts) and the Mark VIe controllers, digitizing 24 field contact signals and transmitting them across the dual redundant Mark VIe Ethernet control network (IONet).

  • Flexible Field Voltage Compatibility: Works with both dry and wet field contact setups depending on the terminal board attached, supporting 24V, 48V, or 125V DC contact sensing.
  • Self-Diagnostics & Status LEDs: Continuously performs health checks on power rails, internal processors, and field wiring loops, reporting errors via front-panel status LEDs and system diagnostics.
