The ICS Triplex T8311 (frequently designated as the T8311 or T8311C for the conformally coated variant) is a high-integrity TMR Expander Interface Module manufactured by Rockwell Automation / ICS Triplex for the Trusted Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) Safety Instrumented System (SIS) platform.

Residing in the primary Trusted Controller Chassis, the T8311 serves as the master interface between the internal Inter-Module Bus (IMB) and the external Expander Bus. It enables multi-chassis system configurations using standard UTP cable connections while preserving high-bandwidth, fault-tolerant communication capabilities.
