Description

The Pepperl+Fuchs HID2038 (121484) is a high-precision, isolated Analog Output Driver designed for use in hazardous areas. As part of the H-System series, it provides a safe, galvanic isolation barrier between the control system (DCS/PLC) and field instrumentation, such as I/P converters, control valves, or displays located in explosive atmospheres. Its “smart” capability allows for bidirectional HART communication, enabling configuration and diagnostic monitoring of field devices through the same pair of wires used for the 4-20 mA control signal.
