The TRICONEX 3101 Main Processor Module is a central processing component for Triconex Trident Version 1.2 safety and control systems. It executes application logic, coordinates I/O processing, manages system diagnostics, and supports communication between the controller and associated modules. It is designed for industrial safety applications such as emergency shutdown systems, process interlocks, and other safety-critical control functions.
The 3101 uses Motorola MPC860 32-bit processors and supports dedicated application and I/O processing functions.
